Resumo:
This work proposes an application of a multicriteria model for a problem of performance evaluation of students in higher education institutions. In the context of this problem, it was possible to evaluate the student who presented a good performance during the graduation with the intention of granting the student a fashion as a form of recognition by the educational institution where he studies, meaning as a stimulus measure to his student body. A methodology is based on the application of questionnaires to the coordinators of the courses of a university located in the cariri of Paraiba, in order to choose the criteria and define their order of importance. The Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) model, more specifically the FITradeoff method, was chosen to deal with problem information and in addition to defining the weights for each criterion, apply the method with a class of students according to the preferences elicited by the decision makers. As the main result of the application was the criterion of coefficient of academic performance (C1), since it was the criterion that stood out the most given an order of measure defined by coordinators and approval process by them.
