Abstract:
This monograph presents a brief survey about the media resource and its influences on children's education practice, aiming to map some forms of contribution and application of these resources in the teaching and learning process. The themes that were addressed point to the effectiveness of pedagogical practice, through the use of technologies and media resources, highlighting the challenges faced by teachers, methodologies inherent in working with children, their findings and learning with the use of media. The theoretical study was drawn from the contributions of authors such as Libâneo (1998-2007); Neves (2005); Moram (2005); Carneiro (2005); David (1999); Kenski (2007), among others. The field study was carried out with the collaboration of four (04) teachers from public schools in Cajazeiras city, which sought to understand through exposure of their speech, how media resources have enabled teaching and student learning, considering their strategies, projects, continuing education and themes considered relevant in developing their teaching actions. Data collection made from a semi-structured interview, the results indicated that the practice should be facing a knowledge construction perspective through the use of resources made available by the advance of science and technology, which are added to media resources introduced since family environments, entertainment practices, and in the school environment, working in an essential manner in the educational actions required by the contemporary context.
