This work is based on the teachers' perspective of early childhood education. Interest in research it emerged from the activities carried out in Stage in Early Childhood Education, when experienced for a few days experiences which reaffirmed the importance of the teacher of early childhood education and practice in the classroom. To analyze this issue made the following question: What does the child in the educational development process of the child, and how teachers have contributed to this development? Thus, to address this concern we developed the following objectives to enable this research: Analyze pedagogical conceptions and practices in early childhood education from the perspective of teachers; Reflect the educational role of teachers in the work directed to children and identify the design of teachers from kindergarten on children, learning and curriculum. The school of early childhood education, and especially the classroom, is a privileged space which hosts the most diverse possibilities of interaction and knowledge of the new. Hence the need for a thorough knowledge of childhood their concerns on the part of the teacher. This can provide a greater range of possibilities in early childhood activities, including aspects such as good relationships, affection, collaboration communication among others. So, for the teacher to understand these aspects is necessary a good training directed to the understanding of what being a child, she must learn to develop as such. In methodological procedures present the data collection through a semi-structured interview, recorded, and contextualization of the school and of the research subjects, we present the information collection instruments and procedures for data analysis. Thus, when reading the responses of teachers and confronting with the authors, we realize how significant is the role of teachers in the school direction. Therefore, we propose the commitment educators with their training so that you can change the current practice, as well as restructure their methodologies so you can spend as appropriate teaching and children's learning process.
