Abstract

The relationship of some topics of Organic Chemistry with the topic of drugs is current, and deserves full concern for being a controversial and delicate theme, of great repercussion in the media and society. For a process of awareness, clarification and reduction of consumption it is necessary to use educational campaigns broadcasted to the school. The present research was developed at the São José Normal High School in the city of São José de Piranhas with the participation of 21 students of the 3rd year with the objective of analyzing the previous conceptions of the students and contextualizing the teaching of Organic Chemistry with the central theme. damn it. The research has qualitative and quantitative action-research and bibliographical character. According to the data collected 85% of students are unaware of the chemical formula of any drug. Despite not relating drugs to chemistry 64% said the most destructive drug was crack.
