Resumen:
Nowadays, the use of new technologies are being increasingly evident, through the use of new tools that have emerged according to time, thus, a new face to the society, as well as new individuals. That is, because the old generations did not have the same characteristics of the present generations. Technologies are present in people's daily lives, implying new ways of living, acting and even thinking. The present study deals with the "The teacher facing the use of new technologies: punctuating difficulties and pointing contributions" and has as general objective to analyze the difficulties and contributions found by the teachers of Nazarezinho-PB, on the use of new technologies. It is a descriptive and bibliographical research, as well as being characterized as quantitative and according to its classification is an applied and field research to obtain an approximation with the reality to be studied. A questionnaire, containing eighteen guiding questions, was used as a data collection instrument, applied to the 30 primary school teachers in two schools of Nazarezinho-PB. For the construction of the theoretical framework, it is discussed the concept of technology in the perspective of Arnaud and Kenski, and posteriorly, it is discussed new technologies and challenges for the teacher. Subsequently, there is a discussion about teacher formation in relation to the use of new technologies, of how much it is essential to their formation. In order to deal with these issues, we use as a theoretical contribution, researchers in the areas of education and technology, such as: Arnaud (2005), Kenski (2003, 2007), Cortella (1995, 2014), Demo (2007), Abreu Santos (2002), Libâneo (2004, 2006, 2007), Araújo (2005), Moran (2000, 2004). The realization of this research has brought significant and constructive contributions both in the educational field and in the professional field, considering that it is possible to understand the necessity of offering courses or continuing education in this area, either by the school, by counting on the collaboration of people trained in the use of these, or by the education departments themselves, by investing in the training of teachers in the teaching process and learning. Thus, it is relevant to the scientific field, since it points to future studies, because it presents other possibilities for discussion regarding the use of new technologies by teachers, for they are tools of assistance in the process of teaching learning.
