Resumo:
The rural schools have an imminent risk of closure, and it was from this premise that this monographic work was realized. The constant risk of closure of country schools has aroused our interest to investigate and seek to discover the factors that cause this problem. It is extremely important to analyze the causes and consequences of the closure process of classes / shifts / schools in the field and why each year, more and more schools are being closed. An analysis is needed to know what is causing the helplessness of these schools and what the public power is doing to mitigate this situation. The general objective of this work is to investigate the factors that influenced evasion at the Wilson Dias Cabral Field School, which is located in the municipality of Barro - Ceará. The character of the research was exploratory and descriptive, and a bibliographical survey was made for the theoretical basis from reading and writing of texts, books, articles, dissertations, electronic journals and other means that subsidized the theme. Data were also collected through questionnaires applied to 10 (ten) ex-students and structured interviews, which consisted of a dialogue with the School Manager, the Municipal Secretary of Education and three (3) families, parents and mothers of students. Through the aid of these research techniques and the consequent obtaining of information we realize that the causes of school dropout are related to the conditions of the roads; of school transports they present, as well as the discomfort and lack of safety equipment. In view of the above, it is expected that municipal management will mobilize and guarantee a quality school transport for the students of the field, as it is a right of the same.
