Resumo:
Currently the agricultural production model has adopted practices that cause environmental destruction. In this context the Agroecology with principles based on the formation of new types of ecologically-based agriculture. Thus it has been realized the need to implement an environmental education based on the principles agroecological for different levels of education seeking the formation of ecological subjects. Thus this study aims to verify how it is being held teaching agroecological practices in schools of the field in the city of Sumé - PB. Data analysis showed that most teachers have certain knowledge about the Agroecology and conduct practices from that knowledge. We realize that the practices that most are present in schools are building organic gardens with use of PET bottles and organic compost production. Although there is carrying out some practice we realize that this happens even precariously mainly due to lack of teaching materials, training for teachers geared to this theme, prolonged drought and the lack of knowledge on the part of the community.
