Abstract:
The research refer on the reflection on how teachers of a school public located in town of Serra Grande/PB, understand and Work with sexuality issues, with objective to analyze the difficulties the teachers in dealing with issues related to sexuality in school. Investigating how they feel or unprepared to enter this discussion. Used for theoretical analysis and reasoning the following authors: Louro (2008); Suplicy (1995); as well as the Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (2001). The method logy used to to conduct the study was the study of exploratory field, quantiqualitativas mapping reflections since the intention was to study in detail the difficulties of teachers to work with issues of sexuality in the classroom. To this end had been applied a questionnaire with open questions and closed and nine elementary school teachers 1. The reflections occur on the responses obtained in the questionnaires delivered by the research subjects. The results indicate that teachers recognize the importance of the theme sexuality, but involve bias issues, values and social standards, which according to the respondents difficult to approcech and discuss sexuality issues in school, combined with the lack of specific training, as well as collaboration of the family. We hope this work will awaken other searches in the same direction, so that we can advance the discussion and encourage the a wakening of the entire commundy.
