Abstract

Faced with the consequences of the Caatinga biome has suffered over the years is at your importance to describe the morphological characteristics of the species, supporting recovery efforts of degraded areas. So this paper studied the species of Mimosa tenuiflora (Willd) Poir, in order to describe the external and internal morphology of fruits and seeds as well as the stages of germination of seedlings of black jurema process Previously selected in the region cariri Paraiba. The experiment was conducted in the Laboratory of Ecology and Botany (UFCG / CDSA). For the morphological description, collected one hundred fruit arrays located in streau Pedra Comprida of Sumé-PB.
