Abstract:
In the last decades it could be seen an increase in the means of communication referring to environmental problems, the school has by duty expand this knowledge in a scientific and interdisciplinary way to the students will have lots of points of view in relation to these problems and consequently, in situations that we can reflect and act appropriately taking into consideration not only popular knowledge, but, scientific knowledge worked in an interdisciplinary way and referenced in the school context. Thus, the research aims verify how the Environmental Education is worked within the activities held in Unidade Municipal de Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental José Bonifácio Barbosa de Andrade Countryside School and its relation with The Countryside Education. In this research were used premises from descriptive qualitative research. There by, in the first phase of the study it was made a literature review and in the second stage was held a field research at Unidade Municipal de Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental José Bonifácio Barbosa de Andrade Countryside School, with application of quizzes to students and teachers. The survey found, in relation to the topic Environment (MA), that almost all the students researched know the theme, more than a half of them have a natural conception from the topic, saying only natural resources as a part of the MA and the subjects Geography and Science, according to research data are which the most present issues about MA having didactic resources to work the theme, whose the most used are the class field and the textbook. Through the students' conceptions relative to the reason to be important study The Environment, it could be noticed that all the researched students said that is important to study The Environment because educates and teaches how preserve it.
