Resumo:
This work completion of the Field Education degree course, exposes the importance of the
games use in mathematics teaching and learning process. With the central theme
"Mathematical Games Contribution in the Teaching and Learning Process in Rural Schools"
held with the students in a class of 6th grade of elementary school in the Field School UMEIE
Jose Bonifacio Barbosa de Andrade, PIO district X, municipality of Sumé - PB. The use of
games in math classes has a considerable contribution in the teaching / learning process of the
students, it has the possibility of promoting the construction of autonomy, develop creativity
and happy to learn. We support the games as a resource for teaching mathematics because the
teacher has the opportunity to create a pleasant environment where students have much
opportunity to interact with peers and with the teacher, and several exchanges of experiences
and discussions, providing opportunities the students to build expertise in a more enjoyable
and interactive way.
