Resumen:
The current work investigates which religious conceptions are approached by the
pedagogical practices presented on the religious education in the Fundamental
Teaching II, having as field and research, Idelfonso Anselmo da Silva school, in the
city of Amparo (PB). Having as specific goals: to document the religious teaching in
brazilian education history; to show the metodologies used in the subjects of religious
education in the Fundamental Teaching II; and identify the religious conceptions
brouched on the religious education in the Fundamental Teaching II. We searched
theoretical subsidy in Queiroz and Cavalcanti. Using as methodological proceeding a
qualitative approach, through field research, for data gathering. By means of this
work, we could see the way how religious education, as a component of curriculum,
is performed in brazilian public schools, through the methodological practices in
classrooms and in the scope of school comunity, with greater emphasis at the
researched school. Wich conclusions point to a permanent cristocentrico teaching.
