Resumo:
This research seeks to analyze the treatment that the body receives in the school context as an object of intervention of knowledge of Physical Education in elementary school I Field School in cariri paraibano. This theme is located in the studies related to learning processes, focusing on the teaching of Physical Education, specifically in the pedagogical proposals centered on dealing with the body in the elementary school in the school field of Pio X community, which is located in the district in Sumé, state of Paraiba. Featuring as research cut, the body and its representation as an object of intervention of Physical Education. In this sense it is necessary to understand how the body is covered in the daily routine of classes and it is represented knowledge of Physical Education at school, considering that it is a field school, since the body is the main working tool for man campesino. Therefore, the qualitative research of phenomenological nature used a questionnaire, plus a diary as tools for data collection. Through research it was noticed that the field school teachers despite the dedication and effort, experience some difficulty in terms of bodily practices and the use of the body in Physical Education classes as to come across the theory of teaching process -learning offered by textbooks is something far from reality faced in schools field of cariri paraibano.
