Résumé:
Focusing the literary reading practice in a classroom from the elementary level of the countryside school, this research aimed verify its presence in this field, especially regardingthe dramatic genre, as also to promote innovative strategiesin the reader training through new possibilities of literary text reading in the classroom. Therefore, it was developed an experience in reading with students from the 9th grade of elementary school from Unidade Municipal de Educação Infantil e Ensino Fundamental José Bonifácio Barbosa de Andrade, located in Pio X District (rural area), Sumé – PB town, starting from a proposal that includes the presentation of different types of reading, by using some theatrical languageelements, from the knowing narrative for children entitledLittle Red Riding Hood and its Brazilian version written by Chico Buarque, entitled Little Yellow Riding Hood and, in sequence an exercise of text production made by the students supported at the dialogue between the narrative genre and the dramatic genre.
