Resumo:
This research monograph entitled "training school manager face the daily challenges of management of a public school" had the research question, what training bases are essential for the manager to face the daily challenges of a public school, general analyzes skills base and training manager in schools, in view of the daily challenges of the management of public schools, as specific objectives, highlight the relationship between management and the role of the school manager front of the public school, investigate how are the training base of school management in the public school everyday and reflect on the social function of public school in the manager's training base. The choice of this theme arose after the School Management course offered in the Faculty of Education. This discipline that has deepened about the manager's work; what knowledge and training are required and that the manager must have to manage a public school, considering that it is complex to deal with the lack of financial resources, social problems and coordination of people, who are part of day-to-day a school. The school manager in the performance of their duties take professional attitudes that result in their professional profile, and around where the school is located in the group of professionals that make up the staff, presented the dimensions: pedagogical, technical and political. The survey was conducted with three managers of public schools in the urban area of Cajazeiras / PB, exploratory research was used, being placed a matter problem, arranged a semi-structured interview guide, the approach used was qualitative. That finalized so that the proposed objectives for the realization of this research have been achieved, because it was possible to understand how the training bases of a manager are important for the functioning and organization of the school context, realizing that a participatory democratic management will enable the involvement of all those who are part of the public school everyday.
