Abstract:
This paper have the goal to verify the conception of the military police of townships of Sumé,
Serra Branca and Monteiro, belongings to the eleventh military police battalion of Paraíba,
with regard to equal treatment between polices and criminals. Our problem is centered on the
question: the human rights activists gives equal treatment to police that confront the crime?
The methology is qualitative and quantitative, exploratory and descriptive statistical nature.
The data collection was done through questionnaires administered to samples of military
fighters of the townships mentioned above. Although they were created to ensure rights
inherent to human beings, without distinction, human rights are not always seen as rights that
are applied equally among those governed by them. Thus, thinking about the importance of
equal treatment also between police and marginal, we investigate about the police opinion,
according to their experiences and opinions, regarding the enforcement effectiveness said
rights in relation to them. How can it will see in this paper, the police do not feel theated
isonomic way in the application of human rights. They make us think marginals are the
veneficiaries of such rights, but this rights do more to scold the police than to protect it.
