Resumo:
The present study focused on the understanding of the formative processes of the learners, based on the contributions of the institutional programs for the formation and the process of construction of the professional identity of the students of the Pedagogy course, Federal University of Campina Grande, Campus Of Cajazeiras. It was a study developed through a bibliographical and field research, of the descriptive type, in a qualitative approach. The objective was to understand the construction of the professional identity of the students of the course of Pedagogy, therefore, to discuss the various concepts of teaching identities in different spaces and time, as well as reflect on the professional identity of the students of the course in question. Finally, it was intended to point out the dimensions of the academic formation taking into account the different knowledges that can be developed from the programs offered by the Institution. The results of the research emphasized the importance of institutional programs for a broader academic formation in terms of sabers, in addition to bringing light to the need to rethink the way the institutional programs offered by UFCG / CFP are organized. It should be emphasized that this research may contribute to the outline of an understanding of the identity profile of the students of the Pedagogy course of the research institution, besides emphasizing the importance of the initial formation for the exercise of the profession and for the construction process Of professional identity.
