The formation of the Brazilian people is made up of different cultural characteristics and several peoples. These different cultural characteristics led public organizations in Brazil to experience several transformations. The general objective of this research is to investigate the scientific production on Brazilian organizational culture in the public sphere in the last decade (2007-2017), as well as to conceptualize and understand the concept of organizational culture, based on a survey of the Brazilian context during the theme and period. Therefore, it is a systematic review of the literature, of an exploratory and descriptive character of a qualitative-quantitative nature, based on consultations with the portals of the National Association of Graduate Studies and Research in Administration, the Brazilian Journal of Management , the Brazilian Journal of Public Administration and the Scielo database. As a result of the research, the low production of the theme in the last ten years (2007 to 2017) stands out. With regard to production by region, we can see a centrality of research and studies published in the southeast region, most notably in the city of Rio de Janeiro, followed by São Paulo. Thus, it is observed that the thematic still needs to be studied and deepened of the analyzes, despite the findings of research carried out at municipal, federal and state levels, using a variety of methodologies in these studies.
