Résumé:
The present job sought understand the reality female nowadaysin the municipality in Amparo/PB. Bringing so, the history by which the brazilian woman has until arrive nowadays. That way, to know and ilustrate the reality of amparenses was developed a field research using as research method the story of lifefour participants, beyond, lookups in databases, as sites, IBGE, INEP, TSE, and four interviews with amparenses. Have been chosen four different profiles: one representative local politics, one benefit from the program family bag, one householder and nursing technique. Seeking to know only about your lives and, like this, identify how is it the reality women amparenses. Bringing yet, the story submission which the women was imposed by men the patriarchal model. Demonstrating the historical to overcome whereby the same they passed, and how muchit was won over the years in society brazilian/amparense. Many were achievements of the women, what they managed achieve and having the same rights only men possessed; they passed have political rights, educational and professionals. Also, let dependence financial beside, and sometimes, assume the head of the family. Facing so, male domination that existed for years in Brazilian society.
