Resumo:
With the need for representation of workers organized themselves in legal institutions,
such as trade unions. The union system has a hierarchy, which organizes workers at all
levels. These institutions coexist and charge for results at all times. These charges that
lead each party to try to be always looking for the value judgment of each action taken.
Under this reality, this research aims to conduct a four-dimensional institutional
assessment from the mission, values, attitudes and actions of the Federation of workers
in family farming in the state of Paraiba (FETRAF - PB) in the perception of
representatives of trade unions of workers in family farming (SINTRAF'S). It was
conducted a case study, with data collected through a questionnaire made with the legal
representatives of trade unions, and analyzed under the basic statistical fundamentals,
measuring them by the so-called parameters, median and mode. The most recommended
in case of analysis in ordinal scales. We have observed as well through this, that the
unions are in general satisfied with the performance of the Federation. Regarding the
four dimensions, despite the recent creation of trade unions and federations and that
sustainability is a very important value in the familiar context of agriculture, and which
it needs to be better developed in matters of actions and values.
