Resumo:
This work entitled "The meaning of the use of teaching resources in the teaching learning of sociology", aimed to understand the meanings of the use of educational resources for teaching sociology. Therefore, there was an exploratory research with a qualitative approach in the State School "Monteiro" PB, with the data collection instruments a questionnaire with nine (09) questions, eight open (objective) is and (01) closed ( subjective) that was applied to sixty students, distributed in the classes of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd high school year, and semistructured interviews with sixteen (16) open questions (subjective) that were intended to two (02) teachers who teach said discipline. After collecting the data, they were referred to the fulfillment of the characterization stage and qualitative analysis of the results. Thus, the analyzed results showed that although the teaching resources are understood as facilitating instruments of the teaching / learning process, they are not used in a diversified manner and often by teachers who still continue to use traditional resources considered as the blackboard and textbook.
