Résumé:
This case study was conducted in Paraiba inside the city of Congo, located in the western Cariri in Paraíba, specifically the Santa Rita community, seeking to address the different forms of technologies used by community residents for capture and storage of water. It was observed as is done throughout the process that goes from contemplation of technologies to the time of use. It analyzed the entire development process of the different technologies, which are held between the different entities in partnership with community residents, with a view to facing social transformation for coexistence with the semiarid region. It was simple and low cost solutions, brought social, economic and educational community, seeking to provide a better quality of life for many families living in Santa Rita. Thus the objective of this work is to show how the arrival of social technologies in Santa Rita has changed the lives of the residents of this region.
