Abstract:
It investigates the evolution of deaf students who are included in the Presidente Vargas Municipal School in the city of Sumé-PB, a school that should be prepared to receive deaf students from the municipality. This research is of qualitative approach. The instruments used for data collection were observation, field notebook and semi-structured interview with deaf teachers, listeners and the principal. The objective is to investigate how is the process of teaching and learning of deaf students included in the Municipal System of Education in Sumé. To this end, we seek to analyze how teaching happens in the Municipal School where inclusion happens, how is the relationship deaf student and teacher in this inclusive process, to verify how teachers apply the methodology in the inclusive room and identify how students are evaluated in this process. of inclusion. The results show us that the Presidente Vargas Municipal School is not prepared to receive deaf students, because there is a lack of qualification of the people who are part of the institution. Teachers have the right to learn, to have education, to attend school for development.
