Resumen:
The organizations belonging to the Third Sector have been expanding their activities in the most diverse thematic areas with the aim of contributing to improvements in the social demands that arise at all times, at the same time that these organizations have been professionalizing and absorbing management concepts that help in their sustainability, A fact that makes this a real challenge for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) because of their characterization. In the present work, organizational sustainability consists of joining efforts and practices in order to manage and use resources efficiently, involving several factors. The main objective of this research was to verify the behavior of the NGOs of Campina Grande, through the perception of the managers of these, with respect to their organizational sustainability from the categories proposed by Silva; Coast; Gómez, (2011). In order to understand this challenge, a quantitative research was carried out with the NGOs of the city of Campina Grande. For this purpose, a questionnaire was used with their respective managers, which was adapted and analyzed according to the variables defined by Mentioned above. Finally, the results found in the study revealed that, in the managers' perception, the organizations favored most of the variables related to sustainability, however, in relation to the categories of capacity to generate revenue and articulate strategic partnerships, NGOs still present Difficulties in this management.
