Resumo:
The Higher Education Institutions (HEI) nowadays have a great challenge: to expand the use of educational strategies, which seek to solidify and diversify the knowledge and development of critical thinking of all social actors involved in the process of construction of new knowledge in the academic field. In the search to break this reality, it is necessary to emphasize the Educational Technologies (ET), which aim to transcend with these models, being an indispensable instrument for sharing knowledge, making the empowerment of the actors involved. The aim of this study was to analyze the discourse of teachers of the nursing course on the meaning of ET in the teaching-learning process. This is a descriptive field study with a qualitative approach, which was carried out with fourteen professors of the Nursing course of the Federal University of Campina Grande, campus of Cajazeiras-PB. A semistructured interview was used for data collection, which took place between June and July 2017, after approval by the Ethics and Research Committee. For the data analysis the Discourse of the Collective Subject (DCS) was chosen. All stages of the research strictly followed Resolution 510/2016 of the National Health Council. In the course of the study, there was certain fragility, despite the fact that they already use the knowledge about the ET, mainly due to limitations in the teacher training process, in addition to the existence of a conception of ET aimed at the exemplification with emphasis on the technologies dependent on electric supply. Therefore, there is a need for strengthening in the permanent formation of teachers, reducing the gaps in the knowledge about the understanding and use of TE in the classroom. Finally, new discussions about the use of TE in the training of new nurses should be awakened and sensitized, emphasizing the construction of critical and reflexive knowledge of the students, since they will be part of the labor market and need this knowledge so much for the career of the teaching, as well as for the assistance, aiming at, transformations in the scenario of performance.
