Resumen:
The ability to use writing comes from an active construction, a technical skill driven by the need for knowledge and comprehension of the nature of the language spoken around us. Thus, this paper prioritizes the process of acquisition of writing in non-educated adults, starting from the idea that these subjects have developed the desire to acquire skills other than oral to better interact with the world around them. From this point of view, this paper has the main objective of analyze the process of acquisition of writing in non-educated adults’ texts, aiming to understand how the knowledge of the alphabetic writing in these productions occurs. Initially, we present theories about the process of acquisition of writing; afterwards, we select the corpus of research; in the end, we describe aspects of the process of acquisition of writing present on the adults’ texts. For this purpose, the paper is based on the studies about literacy by Ferreiro (1985), which cover ideals and data deriving from psychogenesis, backed by the theoretical foundations of psycholinguistics and the hypothesis of learning. We also use Freire’s (2006) approach of a proposition of literacy, which is linked to culture and is part of the individual’s reality. Regarding the methodological process, our research is characterized as ethnographic, Yfollowing a qualitative approach. We gathered a universe of nine texts, of which seven were chosen as the corpus for analysis, with the contribution of five individuals. The survey material used was a questionnaire with open and multiple-choice questions. The analysis categories chosen were the methods and the levels of literacy. From this analysis, it was evident that the individuals, in their process of acquisition of writing, used an analytical method, being at the syllabic-alphabetic and alphabetic levels in the moment of research.
