Resumo:
The entrepreneurship has been studied for some time by scholars in the area, as well as their
influence on the socio-economic development. There is a range of ideas on the theme of
entrepreneurship, many authors conceptualize the topic. Even so, the definitions of
entrepreneurship seek to define the main objectives of the term as, plan, organize, get
opportunities, calculate the risks, have initiative, etc. The object of this research is to study
profile entrepreneur of entrepreneurs in the municipality of Gado Bravo - PB, from the
identification of the characteristics of entrepreneurial behavior in the sample under study. In
relation to methodological aspects, the implementation of this research was descriptive
character, leaned on a quantitative approach qualitative, in relation to the procedures is a field
research, non-probability sampling with intentional. Enriched by contact with the social actors
who live deeply the issues addressed in the study. The data were collected through a semi-
structured interview, trying to absorb as much information about the entrepreneur and the
venture, to be able to trace your profile. The results show that the sample researched has very
similar features, and at the same time very different from what the theory proposes to be a
successful entrepreneur. From this one can see that analysis, these entrepreneurs need to
broaden their knowledge, seek new opportunities, innovate, invest in intellectual capital, etc.
