Resumen:
Retirement is a phase that will be experienced by all and brings many changes to the lives
of workers, it is noticed that many organizations have developed programs because they
perceive that there is this worrying demand and to comply with the current legislation.
The Retirement Preparation Programs - PPA according to Pazzim and Puga (2016)
comprise a set of actions and activities that are deployed for future retirees with the
purpose of helping them prepare for life after retirement. The purpose of this study was
to analyze the demand for a Retirement Preparation Program (PPA) in the perception of
the teachers of the Department of Education of the Municipality of Soledade-PB. For this,
the research had a quantitative approach and the means of conducting the research was a
case study where a questionnaire adapted from Quint (2010) was applied to the teachers
of the Municipality of Soledade-PB. The analysis of the study was carried out from the
information obtained in the data collection, using Basic Statistics procedures, using the
percentage and absolute frequency methods. From the obtained results it was possible to
identify that there is interest of the researched in participating in the programs and that
there is a demand for it. And it was also understood the importance of the Retirement
Preparation Programs from the answers obtained and how much they are needed for the
municipality of Soledade.
