Résumé:
This work aims to approach a research that has as its theme the interface between
green human resources management and environmental management, this research was
developed in a textile company. This theme is a new trend of companies, HR activities such as
recruitment, selection and training can influence the environmental performance of a company,
with suggestions of practices and attitudes that must be taken. As for the methodology used, an
exploratory, descriptive and qualitative research was carried out, consisting of semi-structured
interviews with the main responsible for Recruitment and selection, Training and
Environmental Management on the subject in question, as well as non-participant observation
researcher, to analyze environmental practices. The results evidenced that among the sectors
studied in this institution there is no interaction that results in an improvement of the
environmental actions of the company, the environmental management of the company is based
on environmental laws and customer pressures. This interaction between the HR sector and
environmental management is fundamental because of the importance of people in the
environmental management of any organization. This work suggests some attitudes that can be
taken to develop environmental management from the interaction with the human resources
sector of the company.
