Resumen:
This research aimed to analyze the profile of the occupied workforce and what are the impacts
of the factory installation on the professional experience of the workers in the city of Alagoa
Nova. In order to reach this goal, the methodology used was qualitative and descriptive,
through a study case, having as collection instruments the semi-structured interview, the
questionnaire and the documentary research. Studies say that local development revolves
around the use of local resources to generate employment and income through facilities of
companies or cooperatives in the region. In the case studied, it is perceived that for workers in
a small city, to have a company that generates jobs to the families in the city where they live
are gratifying. Since besides their income, it also has an impact on local commerce, as well as
a way of recognizing the strength of the local workforce, thus creating impacts on their lives.
