Resumo:
The present work aims to discuss the importance of Youth and Adult Education and Solidarity Economy in the self-management process in Fazenda Mata Settlement in the municipality of Amparo-PB. The research is based on the qualitative method, through reports of the residents of the Settlement itself and the technique used was the interview. The purpose of the interviews was to analyze the contributions of Youth and Adult Education in the context in which these subjects are inserted to ascend socially not only in the acquisition of knowledge but also in the application of this knowledge in their everyday life for a better use and improvement of their Daily activities, and consequently, those developed in the Association. It is investigated whether these actions, in fact, follow the economic principles of solidarity fair trade prioritizing autonomy and democracy among its associates with self-management activities, in which there is no figure of a boss, but equality of rights and responsibilities of All for the development of the individual and a better quality of life, through a process of awareness and emancipation of the subjects in the production of goods and services, with the practice of solidarity in the construction of collective autonomy.
