The theme of this work is honor and subjectivities Genres, which has the general objective: to discuss the representations of men and women on the values of honor in the city of Puxinanã 1960 to 1970, taking as reference the sexuality practices of Housewife Sebastiana. It was built three specific objectives in order to articulate together with the overall objective dissertation in production, they are: 1) To analyze the pedagogization the female body through different devices, such as fear, shame, behavior and practices subjectivity as different women, to preserve the honor; 2) Discuss the values of honor in male discourse, reflecting the representations of the body, sexuality, pleasure, purity and love, and 3) analyze the feminine and masculine codes of behavior in the House of Dona Sebastiana, discussing about scams the
honor. I analyze in this dissertation: How male and female speeches to preserve the honor were produced and how these values were practiced in the House of Dona Sebastiana, which was a place of honor and dishonor? Working with memories of different women and men who lived social plots in the city of Puxinanã - PB in the years 1960-70, for this I chose to do analysis of speeches and trod this path in Foucault's wake. At first I analyze the pedagogization the female body through different devices to preserve Honor. Then, discuss the values of honor in the male discourses. And third and last time, I analyze the feminine and masculine codes of behavior in the House of Dona Sebastiana. To operationalize the research data using concepts such as honor (Jean Caulfield); Pedagogization (Albuquerque, Jr.);
Sexuality and Power (Michel Foucault); Place practiced and Burla (Michel Certeau); Body (Goellnner); Genre (Guacira Lopes Louro); Prostitution (Margareth Rago). These concepts, which operated with the sources of this research pointed to the different ways women and men represent the values of honor.
