Resumo:
This study aimed to analyze the transparency of public management actions in the municipality of Sumé- PB, through the analysis of its electronic portals, especially with regard to the Transparency and Ombudsman Portal, based on Federal Law 12,527 / 2011 (Law on Access to Public Information). The research was characterized as a case study of the City Hall of Sumé-PB regarding the transparency and publication of open data. The methodology is structured through documentary analysis and bibliographic review of themes in the area. The general objectives are: to assess the importance of open data in public management, as well as to identify the transparency of Public Management actions in the municipality of Sumé-PB. The specifics are: Identify and prioritize the opening of data with a degree of relevance to the citizen; Stimulate social control; Increase the processes of active transparency; To present the dissemination of the importance of the publication of data opened by the government; To analyze the transparency index in the municipality of Sumé-PB. Based on the results, it was observed that the municipality of Sumé-PB presents effective and effective instruments regarding transparency, since it has the Ombudsman sector at the City Hall, with the purpose of guaranteeing a better service provided, as well as, participation of society. In addition, it presents public management practices, reinforcing the expectation of a more efficient Public Administration and close to society by means of the dissemination of public information, promotion of transparency and expansion of control and oversight.
