Résumé:
Currently there is a lack of studies aimed at detecting the virus hardening of the fruits of passion fruit in Cariri Paraibano. In this context, studies to identify the potyvirus associated with this virus in the plantations of local producers contribute to direct future studies based on the management of orchards. The ELISA method is a relatively easy and high sensitivity in phytovirus identification test, together with the molecular test RT - PCR to confirm the results. These methods in the diagnosis of virus in plants when used together constitute one of the safest forms the casual agent of detecting the pathogen in plants. Thus the analysis of the results identified that in all municipalities where the leaf samples of passion fruit were harvested showed infection CABMV virus. Elisa Indirect test was positive reaction for both CABMV antiserum and for the PWV antiserum, but there was no positive reaction for CMV antiserum, indicating no occurrence of this pathogen in the region. In testing RT - PCR with the use of a "primer" specific for identification of the protein of the protein identified the presence CABMV this case phytovirus in all samples was positive reaction to the CABMV antiserum in indirect ELISA.
