This paper aims to show the results of the research carried outwith Business Management students from the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences. The searchbetween November 11, 2003 and April 19, 2004, with the purpose ofidentify and analyze the variables: consumer profile, attitudes and type of use, variableswhich differentiate buyers from non-online buyers in the Business Management course.FACISA's business.The research object population consisted of students from the 1st and 5th period of the course.Business Management Program, totaling 211 students. 39 were appliedquestionnaires among the sample chosen during the proposed period.The application of this questionnaire provided the collection of information tosome of the key differences between online shoppers andSurfers, establishing the demographic profile, the types of use on the Internet and the attitudes ofpurchase of respondents.This study is divided into the following chapters:CHAPTER I - The research (area of activity, theme, justification, objectives andschedule of work);CHAPTER II - Theoretical Foundation;CHAPTER III - Research Development;CHAPTER IV - Conclusions and Recommendations.
