Resumen:
This study aims to determine whether the project "Environment" already deployed at the
Eschol Municipal de Ensign Fundamental Student Leonardo Vitorino Guimarães, is running
and that there are barriers that prevent you from proceeding with the Environmental
Education in school, as well as promote environmental Management for the students'
awareness of conservation practices of the environment around you and look for ways to
proliferate this example to other schools. The methods used were research publications and
field divided into two questionnaires: one for students 5th grade essential to assess their
knowledge of the existing project in school and the activities that they participated and an
interview with the manager and professor of Environmental Education to verify the accuracy
of the information contained in the project, in addition to the direct observation of the
researcher. With data collection, the results were organized and are shown and explained
through graphs generated by computer programs, which were analyzed from these results.
The results showed awareness of the school management and students interviewed in relation
to the environment, and their level of awareness about this issue not only in school but
throughout the community. We concluded this study with the analysis of the results and some
suggestions for implementation of similar projects in other schools, and seek partnerships for
the proper functioning of the existing project, thereby achieving the main objective finding. It
is therefore that there was no impediment to the school positively exerts their important work
to raise awareness about the environment among its students
