Resumo:
The constant changes occurring around the world encourage the emergence of genuine
competition intensified. To achieve this, companies to survive in a dynamic environment are
having to develop defense mechanisms, which operate solutions forward the changes. One of
these mechanisms used are the relations of partnership or, more precisely, the cooperation
agreements, which are dealing with a share between two or more enterprises, all or part of
business activities, whose goal it is common to both . For this, as a specific focus of study, it
was decided to issue the nature of the cooperation agreements, given that they are providing
competitive advantage for companies who take them, because it interferes not only the
organization but also in economy and in the context environment. In this sense the aim of this
study refers to the characterization of the types of cooperation agreements by companies of
the clothing sector of Campina Grande - PB, from their identification in the studied
companies, as well as verifying the structure and also the benefits of cooperation agreements
verified. After collecting data, obtained by primary and secondary information, it might make
the explanation of the data in such a way that facilitates understanding of the context and
direction to the goal previously proposed. Thus, by identifying the types of cooperation
agreements signed, which are becoming a widespread organizational practice, it was found
that the three companies studied the clothing sector was possible to verify how they are
established, such as Company A ( the franchise, which takes place formally and distribution
agreements, which are made informally) in Company B subcontracting agreements and joint
production agreements, all made informally, and, finally, in Company C, identified if relief -
formal, outsourcing - both formal and informal, and joint production agreements -
informal. Moreover, the study examined a number of benefits from the use of this practice, as
is the case relevant information on market trends, cost reduction, improvement of conditions
of purchase from the suppliers, reducing the risks of market development the innovation
process, maintenance operations, reducing impacts and uncertainties of the environment,
expansion of market share, improve product quality, among others. However, we must be
aware of some obstacles that may arise both for its establishment and for its maintenance, for
example, competition, lack of skills and knowledge of managers, rising costs, etc.. Thus, the
emergence of these agreements show that the proposed improvement to the economy of
enterprises and therefore the municipality.
