Abstract:
Since the weather has great influence on the human body and it is the main respiratory system of the body to show respect for the environment and present large number of admissions in health systems, this article aims to analyze the relationship between hospitalizations for infections Acute Respiratory (IRA) and the climatic conditions in the state of Paraíba, more precisely to the cities of João Pessoa, Campina Grande and Monteiro, from 2008 at 2013. Therefore, climate data were used temperature, precipitation and humidity, obtained at the site INMET and the AESA, and information on the number of admissions available in DATASUS database. The results show that Joao Pessoa has the highest rainfall and higher temperatures, Campina Grande has superior moisture to the other and Monteiro have the lowest rainfall and humidityIn the cooler and wet periods , admissions rise when analyzing the variable precipitation is perceived that can not verify a direct relationship with cases of admissions , it , this element does not influence the increase in cases of hospitalization, but it does not rule out the variable , requiring further study , using, for example , statistical analyzes.
