Secas, "Semana de cultura e arte de Sumé": Uma visão sobre as manifestações culturais.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the week of Culture and Art of Sumé, "seCas" which enabled us to examine and understand the many elements of cultural manifestations in this town. This research is based on some reflections on the concepts of culture, popular culture and cultural industry, in the analysis of aspects that disseminate and connect themselves to cultural manifestations. To reach this object, we used methods of qualitative and quantitative nature, which are based on action research, semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. Thus, the results indicate impacts recognized by sumeenses citizen both for culture and for the social environment.
