Abstract:
Soil is the integrating component of ecosystems, but their knowledge is still limited and is an aggravating factor for the advancement of degradation. Art is fundamental in the construction of knowledge and the design therefore has considerable importance in the construction of children's learning. Especially when considering each child's experience. The children's drawing shows a plurality of possibilities that are characterized as a child of the alternative method of setting the world. The study aimed to evaluate the understanding and analyze therepresentationsartísitcasof children's municipal schoolSumé (PB) on soil resources, its importance, functions, conservation practices, soil fauna, interactions with humans and other elements of nature through paletras , exercises and practical designs, an interactive, dialogical, and participatory espontâna proposal. Lectures and workshops were held with the children of the 6th grade of elementary school and applied environmental perception survey on the understanding of these on soils. After evaluation of the questionnaires drawings practices were held on the topics presented. The results showed that the design has the ability to reveal the evolution of the thinking of the child on the ground, showing the importance of this activity in the development of children's learning and awareness of the importance, value and conservation of soil resources.
