Information and communication technologies (ICT) has become tools which support organizational communication,and they are getting more space in organizations in the private or public sphere. Considering this, organizations are seeking ways to improve and streamline communication which social media access has become a common toll to be used for both professional/personal purposes and they are increasingly present in the daily lives of people and businesses. Thus, this study aims to analyze the influence of social medias at work in three offices in São Sebastião de Lagoa de Roça, from the viewpoint of employees and managers.Regarding the methodological procedures, is characterized with descriptive and exploratory, inthe form of case study. To collect the data were used instruments such as questionnaires with multiple choice questions and semi-structured interview. The data analysis is characterized as quantitative and qualitative. The survey results show that according employees, the social medias do not interfere with your productivity and these can be important allies in the organizational communication process. In contrast, according to the managers, the useof social medias at work interferes with the productivity of your servers but they are not thinking about blocking the access yet because otherwise the sama is useful in organizational communication. So the biggest challenge is to find the best way and time to use these tools.
