With the process of globalization and competitiveness among companies, organizations have become concerned with its human capital, taking into account the expectations of employees, their motivation and job satisfaction. In partnership with the people management, area companies feel the need to develop practices that encourage employee's permanence desire in the organization. The talent retention has been a key factor for the company to develop and stand firm in the market. In this context, this paper aims to analyze the perception of the company's employees regarding retention practices of applicable talents in the organization, considering the working time in the company. For this, the research was classified as descriptive quantitative as the achievement of a case study and the data collected through questionnaires given to the employees of a company in the retail segment of manufacturing / clothing. The study analysis was performed from the information expressed in the questionnaire, and used methods of descriptive statistics by measuring them through the so-called median parameter. Through this, it was observed that in general the constructs that have had a positive perception of the staff were: organizational culture, recruitment and selection, socialization and performance assessment process. However, the constructs training and development and rewards had a negative perception of employees. Considering the working time in the company, we can see that the novice employees are responsible for the majority of negative responses assigned in the research.
