Resumo:
In the global context in which organizations are introduced and subject it is fundamental the
figure of the leader as a factor of change and able to interact in this competitive environment
providing better results. However it is worth emphasizing that organizational results depends
on the human factor to exist. In this case the intellectual capital developed by the
professionals should always comes good level of satisfaction and motivation for
organizational performance be effective. The general objective of this research is to examine
relationships between leaders' actions and performance of employees with regard to the best
performing sector in the credit section of a self-service store. About the purposes, the
methodology adopted was the exploratory research, and about the means, it is a field research.
The research technique is characterized as intensive direct observation, through observation
and direct extensive documentation. The research instrument was a questionnaire prepared by
the Likert scaling model. For data processing it was used the quantitative approach. The study
unit was the Riachuelo stores Subsidiary Campina Grande - PB, in particular the Department
of installment plans. The results obtained show that exist the relationship between leadership
and performance, and it is possible to be acquired in organizations. Based on the variable
leadership, which is the object of this research, some indicators pre-determinants influenced
the performance of employees.
