In the globalized world, companies are increasingly looking to improve their performance and achieve value-added products to meet customer expectations and become more competitive. With these changes, the logistics processes had to become more efficient and take decisions to strengthen the links of the supply chain, resulting in the intensification of activities in all productive sectors. In the aviary sector, these changes were visible where it was found that in recent years there has been an increase on demand for food products and intensified consumption of chicken meat due to the access of low-income populations to this product. In this sense, the poultry industry has stepped up its logistics activities covering all the logistics chain, considering the need to add value to the product. As stated, the objective of this study is to analyses the logistics activities of the companies that form the poultry Azevem in the state of Paraiba. Using a descriptive methodology to match the case study research, it was used a qualitative analysis. To collect data it was used interviews with scripts, direct observation of logistics processes, as well as company documents. The company studied has good structure for good performance of logistics activities, which will provide quality on its products to the company’s customers. However, it is still necessary staff training, improve and build new structures to store some products and it is necessary employees with strategic vision to optimize the flow of requests and processes that will help to improve sales.
