Resumo:
The information technology (IT) arises in order to expedite the actions within organizations
and implementation of efficient activities. For the proper implementation of these activities, it
is necessary to have people trained to use this tool. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the
use of new IT's in the productive activities of the Tax Division of the Municipality of Sumé-
PB. Methodologically, the research is classified as a case study, descriptive and exploratory,
with qualitative and quantitative analysis. The survey data were collected through interviews
with 04 officials Taxes industry to match 100% of the staff and questionnaire with 40 users of
the services of this sector, which included relevant information to the study in question and
served allowance for interpretation to obtain the results. The results show that the industry
provides training for staff, offers tools such as IT, but one of those used is flawed and not all
services are guided in this tool. It can be concluded therefore that the Taxes industry needs
more adequate systems, updated and that all services are guided in IT tools for greater
efficiency.
