Resumen:
Over the years, schools have taken as a priority not only the responsibility of teaching their students to read and write. A school has become responsible for forming good citizens. This responsibility is passed on through disciplinary rules. This research had the objective of studying indiscipline and institution of rules in the classroom, with the general objective of analyzing the emergence of indiscipline and how disciplinary rules are established and practiced in the classroom of elementary schools (initial years - 1º ao 5th). Therefore, five female teachers were interviewed in the city of Santa Cruz - PB, with the knowledge and authorization of the same and the school manager, to apply the questionnaires and analyzed through the Content Analysis method. It was verified through the reports obtained that the indiscipline of the students is most often the result of the disagreement between the rules of the family and the school, thus, causing bad habits and behaviors in the classroom.
