Resumen:
Bullying is not a recent problem, but was only recognized and expanded from the last 10 years that bears directly on the desktop with post-traumatic consequences to the employee harassed, being characterized by prolonged or systematic abuses. The object of study focused on the key practices of harassment suffered by nurses Maternity Public Health Institute Elpidio de Almeida (ISEA) and how these affect the lives of workers. When it involves the procedures, a survey was conducted descriptive way through a case study, the questionnaire being used as a tool for data collection, where the model was adapted from the same Web site for victims of bullying at work, namely http://www.assediomoral.org. According to the survey it was found that some of the consulted people suffer from certain acts of harassment and these interfere with the lives of workers affecting their self-esteem by making him feel less motivated at work. It was noted also that in public service bullying is more easily developed because the guarantee of stability in the functional link.
