Avaliação do gerenciamento dos resíduos de serviço de saúde no hospital e maternidade Alice de Almeida no município de Sumé – PB.

Abstract

The present work is a case study that has as objective evaluates the referring procedures to the system of administration of Residues of Services of Health in the Hospital and Maternity Alice de Almeida of the city of Sumé - PB. For such, the work is structured in 5 (five) subsequent chapters, to know: Introduction, Theoretical Fundamentação, Methodology, Development of the Apprenticeship and Final Considerations. For the development of the work they were used as procedures, the employees' observation in the activity of handling of the residues, the description of the activities and the comparison with the legislation on the subject. As result was possible to identify the profile of the administration of RSS in the establishment, what can subsidize the direction of the same in the determination of more appropriate procedures and in agreement with the effective legislation, in way to minimize the risks to the health and the environment.
