Agriculture has existed since the early days as a fundamental part of a system that relies on it to survive, which is the basis for everything we think about accomplish, considering that without it we would not have enough food on the table of humanity. Agroecology arises in this context as a new north, in what relates to the production of increasingly healthy and pesticide free food. The agroecological farmers that are more important part in this process, which to operate, requires multipliers of experience, experiencers and innovative, forward a process of agroecological transition is still showing very slow today we find ourselves. In this scenario, this paper aims to outline the profile of producers and consumers of agroecological fairs Congo, Sumé and Monteiro, Western Cariri Paraiba, from May 2011 to August 2013. The fact that we still have a few producers and consumers of food of agroecological origin implies increasing centralization concrete efforts to change this reality that still pervades not only the Brazilian northeast region, but also worldwide. Data analysis showed that farmers and farmers of Western Fairs Agroecologies Cariri Paraiba are made up of young people, adults and the elderly, the latter being responsible for small plots of land to produce their products. Consumers agroecological fairs have become mostly women, given that this largely is often responsible for feeding your family, both for shopping, but also for cooking, a situation that today has reversed especially in large cities, but that is unfortunately still a reality in small cities. Quality issues, preserving the environment and health are reigning for consumers these fairs points.
