Abstract

This monograph, which theme is: importance of technology in the teaching and reading and writing learning, has as main objective to analyze the importance and influence of Information and Communication Digital Technologies in the teaching and learning process of reading and writing classroom, discussing strengths and weaknesses. And the following objectives: To investigate the importance of technology in the teaching and learning of reading and writing; Check the use of technological resources with I Fundamental School teachers in the reading and writing process; Present and discuss the results of the research done with teachers regarding the use of technological resources in the teaching and writing and reading skills.In this sense, from a literature review and field research as a methodology for the construction of this work, it is observed that teachers recognize the importance of technology for this new modern teaching process of reading and writing, but still find it difficult, as these when used properly enables its users a range of opportunities for intellectual growth when the opposite occurs can lead both the teacher and student to self-indulgence, but then using these tools makes the school environment pleasurable and innovative providing the reduction of the digital divide, in which students feel included in this globalized world participating consciously use these in this new digital world and can also be connected and publish their various creations on the network.
